The deputy looked up at Lacedribbon, then prodded the still rogue. "I was out on a border patrol," Sphinxfoot began dramatically, "Just minding my own business, when this rogue here-" She prodded him again, and he reacted, groaning in protest and swatting at her paw- "leaped out of nowhere and attacked me! He slashed at my face, and I, shocked, leaped back, but he came at me again!" The ginger she-cat's tail was lashing back and forth now, and she was smirking slightly, caught up in her own story. "I managed to dodge again and grabbed him, pinning him, but he scrabbled free, grabbing my paw so I couldn't attack him with it... And then we fought for a while, and then I knocked him out..."

Sphinxfoot shrugged. "And now he's here. I want to know what we should do with him, because I couldn't just leave him out there. If he woke up and came back, or if some strange creature got him and came here wanting more... It was better to bring him here." She kicked him, just to make sure he was still alive. "What should we do with him?"

She was outside her den, and Lacedribbon had come across Sphinxfoot and some rouge. Looking startled, the Medicine Cat padded over to the two.

"Care to explain?" She asked, voice soft and almost... Fragile... Sounding. She looked in concern from the rouge to Sphinxfoot, then sat down asif she expected to stay awhile.

There was a sour taste in her mouth as Sphinxfoot padded back to camp, dragging an unconscious rogue behind her. She had spotted him on SkyClan territory and he attacked her, but she managed to knock him out in a quick fight. And what a fight it had been. He had given the deputy some scars to remember, but she had eventually bested him and now he was hanging limply from her jaws, completely at her mercy.

The ginger she-cat stopped in the middle of the camp and dropped his body on the floor, keeping one paw placed firmly on his flank lest he woke and tried anything funny. Green eyes darting around, Sphinxfoot quickly left him to grab a mouse before returning to her post beside him, eating the prey whilst waiting for someone to notice that she had an unconscious rogue laying quietly behind her.
