"YAY! I'll go right now!" Dreampaw rushed over and headed out of the camp.  She didn'd even know what way to go or how to get to the other clans.  She just never wanted to stop running.  She was so happy, and exited.  And she didn't realize where she was either, until she was out of breath.  She stood, panting, in the middle of a random forest. Then, the realization came to her-she was lost.  (Maybe she could find a salamander to eat.)

ooc; Yeah, there will only be like two or three. Then, when they're called back, they won't be spies again unless the need once again arises.

Fallenstar looked down on little Dreampaw. An apprentice? Well, it was certainly non-suspicious. No cat would ever suspect a harmless apprentice if doing any harm. "Okay." Fallenstar agreed, waving his tail in Dreampaw's direction.

"Any other volunteers?" the chocolate tom asked.

Foglight raised his tail, a bit hesitantly. "I'll do it for y'all, Fally. I think I be the best 'ol stealth master in 'dis clan anyhow." the thick furred country tom volunteered.

OOC-I don't think so, but there should be a limited amount. Like two or three.

"Oooh me me! Pick me!" Dreampaw jumped up and down, clearly excited about being a spy.  "I will be awesome at it!  I can be really quiet too.  And i'm not afraid to crack a few skulls too!"

Fallenstar nodded slowly, liking the idea. "Would anycat here, say, if we had spies, volunteer to be one?" the chocolate tom asked, flicking his tail curiously.

ooc}} should spies be a new, temporary Hp?

Sphinx's tail lashed back and forth again, and she hopped back down to the ground. "I think we should spy on them, get a feel for how they're fairing at the moment. Then we could decide upon our plan of action." She sighed softly and sat down, her tail curling itself around her paws. It was a troubling time for SkyClan, Nd she knew that if they did not do something to redeem themselves in the world of warriors they would fade from existence, and soon no-one would remember the noble clan that had once stood beside the others as the fifth of the forest.

Fallenstar watched the young apprentice with a sad expression. These were the young cats who he loved and had grown attached to, the ones that really knew the SkyClan way. It saddened him to see them all in this situation. "I don't think,l they'll attack first, Dreampaw." he mewed carefully, stepping off the Rockpile. "But if they do, we can be ready now, because you just warned us." Fallenstar added kindly, with a forced smile. Dreampaw was clever, and he didn't want her to forget it.

Lacedribbon looked sadly at the apprentice. You will be safe, my darling. We've nearly been forgotten, it's unlikely they'll attack first. She 'meowed', using telepathy to communicate to the little apprentice.

A small apprentice crept out of the shadows.  "But Fallenstar, what if they attack us first?  And we are unprepared, then what will we do?"  She looked around nervously.  "What if they are planning to destroy us as we speak?" She hissed, her voice barely a whisper.  "Some of us aren't even fully trained yet!  How will we survive even one battle?"  She stared down at her paws, and her small, delicate harmless claws.  "Is there any way to sharpen my claws?  These won't be of much use the way they are now."

Fallenstar nodded in agreement. "Yes, that sounds wonderful, Lacedribbon. We'll wait for them to fight a few battles, then strike." he agreed, smiling faintly. His joints ached just from moving around, and being on his last life, Fallenstar knew he was going to die in this war. But he wanted to. He would rather die fighting for SkyClan's future than of old age.

Lacedribbon nodded. "But we must wait. I heard Refereejersey and Northernlights... They were talking about a war between their Clans. I fear that we shouldnt interfere until we're sure it's over. Plus, it's better to come when they're weak. They'll be less excited to attack."

Lacey was pretty unpredictable, so it wasn't a huge surprise that she was a good thinker like that. Since she barely spoke, she had time to listen and watch. She was a great observer.

Sphinxfoot had stopped listening at 'and, when I die'. Her head slowly turned and she stared at Fallenstar, taking a few steps backwards, ears pinned to her skull. "SkyClan won't fall," The deputy mewed slowly, like a small kit struggling to put together a sentence that made sense, "and no-one will die. No-one. You all hear me?We aren't the biggest clan, we aren't the strongest clan, and we aren't the most popular. But..." She tore her gaze from the leader and shut her eyes, sitting down. "I think we're the best. If we try, we can make an appearance, claim what was taken from us again and settle down as the greatest without anyone dying." Sphinx's tail lashed back and forth.

Fallenstar mulled it over, his expression hard and thoughtful. "Well, Lacedribbon, I believe you. But we are fading away. Would it be more reasonable to save our own cats, but fade from existance rather than take a risk or two?" he inquired, though to no cat but himself. "And, when I die, my kits won't know me, assuming I die within the next few moons. Sphinxfoot is a great cat, hut she alone can't get the next generation to believe our old ways. When we are all gone, the clan will break up, I forsee it. SkyClan will be no more." the brown tom's voice was a bitter rumble, and a pained one at that.

Lacedribbon had been watching without a word, but she finally spoke. "I fear much worse is to come, sir. StarClan have warned me of plague- A horrible sickness is coming to SkyClan." She meowed, taking a cautious step forward. "They say few have cured it, and countless have died in foreign areas." She shuddered at the thought of even more dead cats.

She found herself nodding in agreement. "We were driven out by twolegs, if I remember correctly, and who came to our aid? No-one. I agree, we should do something... But what?" Sphinxfoot frowned. "We could..  I don't know, just waltz back and make an appearance? They'd bound to be shocked if we did that, or maybe even if we fought them. That would really confuse them. But..." She paused, "We need to gather information about the other clans, see what they're doing so we can find the best ways to come back with a bang. We could... Have spies go in and act as loners? Maybe they could join the other clans and feed information back to us?" The deputy was practically bursting with ideas, and eventually she hopped up beside Fallenstar and pressed against him again.
