Sphinxfoot limped into the den after Foglight, glancing down at him for a moment before turning herself to Lacedribbon. "Foxes," The deputy muttered, "Rather stupid foxes." She sat herself down and wrapped her tail around her paws again, ears pricked, eyes narrowed against the pain.

OOC: She has several gashes and cuts everywhere, but it isn't... overly serious. It just looks it from the outside.

Lacedribbon nodded. "You can stay if you'd like, for a little bit." She meowed, pushing some herbs into piles before settling down on her nest.

He shook his furry head, still very confused. "I ain't judgin' naught, cross my heart. Just warn me next time, awright?" Foglight mewed. It still struck him as unbelievable that cats could even do that sort of thing, but she was a medicine cat, so he supposed it was somewhat believable.

Lacedribbon just shrugged. Usually the biggest reaction I get is just a 'Whoa!' Your's was... Interesting. She smirked, then opened her mouth to actually talk. "Fog, dear, don't judge a book by it's cover."

With an awkward whine, Foglight got up off the ground and stared at the medicine cat in fright. "Ma'am, y'all just scared the livin' dead outta me." Foglight mewed softly, watching the magical feline with curiosity and fear.

IC: Lecedribbon laughed to herself, nudging Foglight up. Quite the reaction, my friend. Do not be scared. It's just a more complex way of communication. It's telepathy. She explained, then continued, So, are you going to ask one about their quirks again, Foglight?

She knew it had been a little rude to freak him out like that, but Lacedribbon couldn't help it. She liked Foglight, he was cute, and funny too. Of course, though, that would never work out. She was a Medicine Cat.

Foglight just sat there for a moment, completely stunned. Then with a gurgling sound, he fell over unconscious. His mind was blown.

Lacedribbon shrugged. Maybe she'd mess around with him a bit.. Few cats knew she had telepathy, maybe she could let Foglight know about it.
No point in talking, hon, without reason. I do my job, I tell my patients how to keep their injuries or sickness from coming back, and I'm done. I'm not a chatty one, Foggy.
She 'meowed', though her mouth didn't move. She smiled, looking at Foglight, awaiting his reaction.

The gray tom dipped his head, though a little confused. She hadn't said a word, save the things he was supposed to do with his paw. She was mysterious, and he kind of liked that. "Lacey, 'ow comes ya don't talk?" he asked, his heavy southern drawl dominating his speech as always. It was one if the quirks that made Foggy so attractive.

Lacedribbon padded out of her nest, face scrunched up in concern as she bent beside Foglight. Carefully cleaning the wound with moist moss, she wiped away much of the blood, then got some marigold (I think thats the herb that prevents infection. XD, just pretend she got the right one.) and applied a pulp to his cuts.

Carefully, then, she wrapped cobweb around it, and backed away. "Keep it off the ground, and come back if it gets worse." Her meow was brisk, but gentle with a soothing, almost sing-songy feel. Yup, that was Lacedribbon. Getting to work right away, and barely saying a thing.

Foglight limped into the medicine den. His dove colored face was pained, and his blue eyes squinted. He flopped over in he den, extending his left paw into the air. It was very bloody, in fact, so bloody, his paw wasn't when visible under all the red.

ooc; He has a large cut on his paw, heavy bleeding.
