Appearance: Just as a piano is made up of black and white keys, Piano is also black and white. Remember Smudge from the Warriors books? He'd be a good way to describe Piano. With white fur like canvas, Piano would look like a dainty priss if only she didn't have such clumsy paws and random splotches of black everywhere. Her eyes are a pretty simple color- Just plain amber, as so often seen in cats. She is quite the klutz, and so it was pretty obvious she'd never be an Alto worshipper.

Personality: Creative and unique, Piano was obviously in love with story-telling since she was young. Always making up crazy tales, and elaborating on battles with startling details, she chose to become a Tenor cat, and told great stories. She was considered a great author, and became a dove. Aside from telling stories, Piano is a funny, happy-go-lucky type of cat.

“the tribe of haunting melodies”

The Tribe of Haunting Melodies is a group built on the power of voice. Not just speaking or singing, but political voice too, a cat's voice in his or her tribe. They believe in four spirits, Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and Base, and these four spirits are the foundation of Haunting Melody society. All cats must choose a god or goddess to worship when they turn five moons, and their choice sorts them into 'branches.' Cats may never change their branches after they have chosen them.

SOPRANO … the goddess of song. cats who choose Soprona have an appreciaton for singing and singers.
ALTO … the goddess of dance. cats who choose Alto like dancing or like dancers.
TENOR … the god of stories. cats who choose Tenor like made-up tales, or maybe enjoy writing or telling them themselves.
BASE … the god of strength. cats who choose Base have an intrest in skills like hunting, battle, climbing, swimming, and running.

The cats all live in a huge system of tunnels beneath the Main Clans, the very same ones from the books. There is one main tunnel that is huge, and an underground lake is located here. There is a large 'skylight' on the ceiling of the hollow, above the lake, where rain can come into the lake and cats can look and see the sky outside. This hole is located near Mouthermouth, and surrounded by boulders and rocks, which is why clanners haven't seen it yet. There is a boulder a few feet out into the lake, and Singers and Dancers use it as a stage. All the other cats sleep around the tunnel in nests scattered anywhere, made of moss collected from the Moss Cave, a cavern filled with moss below ThunderClan.

Besides territory and basic information, the Tribe has a unique way of life. Every week, on the cat equivalent of Friday, all the Singers and Dancers put on a grand show for their clanmates, singing and dancing on stage. Cats can perform in groups or bands, or alone, doesn't matter.
